 Appalachian Sponsors Pa Land Trust Conference

Third straight year that Appalachian Land & Conservation Services Co. has sponsored this key land trust event, now in its fourth year…

Harrisburg, Pa (March 27, 2006) – For the third straight year, and since the company’s inception, Appalachian Land & Conservation Services Co. is sponsoring the Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference. 

The conference is a presentation of the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association (www.conserveland.org).

“We are always proud to sponsor the Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference,” said Appalachian president and CEO, Josh First.

Mr. First has been a presenter and moderator at past Pennsylvania Land Conservation conferences.  The conference is being held in State College this year.

“Every year this conference gets better and better, and as open space and wildlife habitat continue to fall to poorly planned development, this conference becomes more and more necessary,” he said.

Mr. First is a member of the PALTA Policy Council and works closely with many PALTA member organizations.
