On behalf of our organization I offer our thanks to you for your dedication and efforts in seeking a position on the PGC Board of Commissioners. As you have stated -and what those of us who have been involved in Harrisburg for many years are painfully aware - the political and personal intrigues are truly pitfalls to accomplishments of varied sorts.

I am not sure if our Legislative Director advised you of this or not, but we learned very early in the game that, due to our resource first policy and our stance on wildlife management any candidate for Commissioner that we publicly support has one strike against them from the onset. That has not keep us from working behind the scenes for candidates such as yourself whom we felt were truly qualified for the position.

We can easily imagine the relief both you and your wife are experiencing now that this is over, however we were very much disappointed in the outcome of the Senate vote.
