Appalachian Sponsors Annual PALTA Conference for Sixth Straight Year

"Appalachian Land & Conservation Services is proud to yet again sponsor the annual Pennsylvania Land Trust Association conference," said Josh First, president of Appalachian Land & Conservation Services Co., LLC.  "PALTA is an important organization linking private landowners with conservancies, and an increasingly articulate voice on public policy and legislative matters," said First.  Appalachian has spent its five years helping land trusts, private land owners, investors, law firms, and public conservation agencies develop and implement good practices, fair law, sound investments, and solid policy.  First will be leading a panel discussion at the conference, a retrospective and critique of private forestland investing for conservation purposes.  First is a member of PALTA's Policy Council since 2001.
